Founded in 1913 Hamilton Old Boys is one of the oldest and most successful Clubs in the Waikato region. The Club has won more Rugby championships and supplied more representative players than any other Waikato Club since 1922, including 8 All Blacks, 22 NZ representatives and 160 Waikato A team players.
1989 saw the building of what has now become NZ's largest indoor rugby training facility, which has been of great assistance to the Club and to all the Waikato rep teams who have used the facilities over the years. The Club has now installed an artificial turf carpet in the training shed which will enhance future use of this facility and will enable teams to train indoors when the weather and ground conditions are unsuitable. Also netball, volley ball, soccer and a multitude of other sports will be able to be played on the 32 x 20 metre surface. Enquiries for the use of this facility to the Club Manager, 07 847 7560.

We are pleased to announce the creation of a new website which will enable us to do much more on-line than we did before. At present we are coming up to speed with the new technologies involved in this new site. Members will easily be able to find their way around the site to catch all the latest club news, views, events and sports results through this new medium.
Anything and everything that Hamilton Old Boys Rugby and Sports club inc. is associated with will be here in one place for our members to read and view. In future we are looking at developing this site into a truly multimedia on-line service for current and future club members.
We will be inviting ideas for the new site as things develop.

We would encourage club members to register with the new Hamilton Old Boys Ruby and Sports Club website so that you can receive our club newsletter now, online.
Apart from this there will be sections online specifically for members only (as the site develops) and new innovative multimedia presentations.
As we develop the site further after this initial launch we hope to provide members with more club news and even at some stage video from some of the clubs competitions and games.
We trust you will enjoy being part of this new evolution in the club’s history and fully participate with things that we will feature or run online to aid the development of the club in the future.
