Founded in 1913 Hamilton Old Boys is one of the oldest and most successful Clubs in the Waikato region. The Club has won more Rugby championships and supplied more representative players than any other Waikato Club since 1922, including 7 All Blacks, 22 NZ representatives and 160 Waikato A team players.

1989 saw the building of what has now become NZ's largest indoor rugby training facility, which has been of great assistance to the Club and to all the Waikato rep teams who have used the facilities over the years.

As well as our large indoor training center the club has two floodlit training grounds, Squash courts, new large clubrooms and carpark. 2001 has seen the addition of two new changing rooms and the upgrading of field lighting to enable night games to be played.

Situated 20 meters from the new Waikato Stadium the Clubrooms are ideally located for easy parking and pre-match entertaining.

The club caters for Netball,Rugby (both Senior and Junior) and Squash which saw a membership of 760 in the 2000 season.
